Wise Women Sisterhood
This retreat is for you if you have heard the call to awaken your inner fire and reconnect to the voice of your heart. If you have felt too unseen and too unheard for too long, join us in this week-long adventure towards finding your own extraordinary.
Spend a week in the deepest rural France with a small group of women to awaken your authentic, creative self, learn to communicate your needs, reclaim your inner goddess and instil simple daily habits that will take you into a life of abundance even when you return back home. Especially when you return back home.
We will explore our own infinite resources of love with mind body and soul fully alive, connect to our cycles (whatever our age), cook together, resetting simply through nourishing food, essential oils, daily yoga and meditation. We’ll spend time in the forest and out on the lake or simply lounge in the extensive garden.
The atmosphere at Les Hiboux is chilled and personal - not 5 star perfection but mismatched crockery, extended home cooked organic dinners, a heated 11x4m pool, evenings spent toasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories by an open fire, finding a deck chair in the shade to read a good book, a huge double height open plan living room in the barn, a trampoline and swings for children small and big, fierce croquet and pétanque games in the willow garden - plenty of spaces to enjoy and relax and heal and rejuvenate.
Our neighbours call the Creuse area "the forgotten France". Picturesque villages and small towns await exploration, French chateaus and old castles, kayaking on the river Creuse, waterskiing on nearby Lake Chambon, plenty of restaurants for all budgets, walking or hiking, fishing, cycling or simply spending the day chilling by the pool - if you like activities in an undiscovered countryside, you are in for a treat. We have spent years lovingly restoring the old farmhouse and landscaping the garden, and last spring the large barn conversion was finally completed.
